Trust is the key

What keeps us from moving into a deep and profound peace is our lack of
TRUST. Trust is the key to liberation.

For those on a spiritual or religious path, the idea that a
higher power is in charge of your existence is not a new concept.
So why then are you questioning your journey? Why are you second
guessing your life? Having faith or belief is simply not
enough. Trust is absolute. One's faith can be tested. Your
beliefs can be challenged. Trust comes from the heart and is
rooted in a deeper level of consciousness. It comes from a
profound place of knowing that you are divine and that your life
is happening in divine order. In any moment of frustration,
agony, sadness or fear you can bring trust into your experience
and expand your consciousness. For example when you are
frustrated that life isn't going the way you think it should,
instead of continuing on this destructive path of frustration,
simply breathe and acknowledge that every experience is unfolding
in divine order. In consciously doing this practice, the stress,
the worry and the fear will dissipate. Complete trust allows you
to simply enjoy the ride of your life knowing that with the
Divine in charge you couldn't ask for a better driver.

Jesus, Buddha and Krishna lived a life of complete and total
trust. Trust has the ability to propel you into complete
realization and opens you up to a life filled with peace and
authentic surrender. Trust removes the worry and fear from life
and brings absolute clarity. Practice the principle of trust.
As you do you will witness your life transform before your eyes.
Allow the Divine to lead as you relinquish control. Follow
lovingly the path that unfolds before you. This is the path to
your freedom and the map to your road home. Trust your Self.
You know more than you think you do. In the presence of the
light, nothing but the light can exist.

    I feel judgment often keeps people from being able to trust themselves. Lack of forgiveness of self and/or others brought to them by the illusion of judgment...(fear).
    Love is trusting. Trusting yourself, and knowing no judgment can be brought against you unless you give it value.

      It's hard for me to trust, very hard to trust that anything will be ok. Deep down I always hope for the best and Try to be optimistic but to really let go of all control seems impossible to the inner workings of my mind, no matter how hard I try.

      I was abused sexually by my father beginning at the age of 2, when you are that young and learn that the world is dangerous, that is how you see the world forever. How can I heal the unspoken language of fear to a wounded two year old who does not understand words?? Please help me if you can, I've been trying to let go of fear, it's gradual and I've gotten better, but when I get to a certain point of complete surrender I feel as if anything can happen to me at that moment. If it's no one there to be afraid of then my mind will begin to fear the unknown, ghosts are watching me, I'm not alone, etc. So I spend most of my waking moments partially guarded and unconsciously tense.

      I think that if I were older when my abuse began I would be able to tap into an earlier moment of security, but for me that doesn't exist, my earliest memories are that of fear. So subconsciously I feel that is what I am made of. I feel it is my lifelong goal to erase this inner damage, but it is extremely difficult to do.

        ghosts & spirits are watching you ~ just like living people, some of them wish for the best, some of them, not so much....

        the world is dangerous ~ yet, we persist ~ maybe not in 'ideal' form, but in a form that allows us at least some pleasure, where we can find it

        it may sound kinda *cheesy* ~ but the lyrics of Billy Idol's 'White Wedding' speak to & reassure me:

        There is nothin' fair in this world
        There is nothin' safe in this world
        And there's nothin' sure in this world
        And there's nothin' pure in this world
        Look for something left in this world
        Start again
        Come on

        they always have, since I first heard them

              no but seriously, that will make me stay up late wondering.. and why do I have to be watched by a ghost or ghosts? Isn't privacy important to the afterlife?? Why do I have to be watched and how would someone truly come to terms with that realization??

                and why do I have to be watched by a ghost or ghosts?
                ~~~~~~~~~
                'cuz they love us ~
                specifically, ghosts (aka trapped or earthbound spirits) miss being alive ~ they are trapped 'cause their spirits are still caught up in the world of the flesh ~ they miss eating & drinking & interacting ~ all the things that most living people take for granted & they've got nothing 'better' to do, but watch & get their vicarious kicks through the living, however they are able ~ at least until they can resolve the issues that trapped them in the first place (which isn't very likely without some help from the living, at some point ~ so they watch & wait)
                specifically, spirits (of ancestors & stuff) love us for less 'selfish' reasons ~ aware that they don't really have a 'self' anymore & in connection with 'greater powers of loving energy' (aka The Light) ~ their very wish is for us, the living, to share in more of it ~ they attempt to communicate this & provide guidance, as they are able (which is mostly determined by how open we, the living, are to their help)
                Isn't privacy important to the afterlife??
                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                no ~ but some of them may be willing to work with your specific concerns, with no judgment at to how little 'sense' your requests may make to them

                Why do I have to be watched and how would someone truly come to terms with that realization??
                ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                my guess is that you may be intuiting that there is a ghost/spirit who is already attempting to communicate with you ~ that's 'why' you are asking these questions ~ I say, try communicating back & see what happens ~ you are the one with the 'power' in the situation, as you are the one with the physical body ~ so you get to set the ground rules ~ if the spirit truly wants to help, they will respect your boundaries & offer you loving guidance ~ if the ghost just wants to 'tease' you, they are no different than a rude person in a public place, only, in this situation, you, as the one with the body, is the stronger one, on all levels
                hope this helps!
                love all-ways,
                mem
